Any charge (traffic or non-traffic) where the punishment is: a year or less in jail, fines, probation or community service. Sometimes it is a mix of jail time, probation or community service, and fines. The punishment depends on the seriousness of the offense and is under the judge's discretion.

Any charge (traffic or non-traffic) where the minimum punishment is a year or more in prison, fines, probation or community service, or a combination of all. The punishment depends on your previous criminal history, seriousness of the offense, and sentencing guidelines.
